A sculpture in and of itself, the Absinthe table was conceived to define, but not enclose, the space surrounding it—making the negative space created as identifiable as the table itself. The starkly thin, asymmetrical base is used as a single element in the design to set off an elegant quartz crystal top. An interesting juxtaposition of soft and hard is showcased in this memorable occasional table.
