A slightly rounded loose three-cushion back with decorative buttons as punctuation. Bench seat. Flaring sinuous slope arms. Wood band over flaring tapered feet. Influenced by the new cafe culture of Vienna in the 1920s, this sofa is at once formidable and neatly tailored. With uncommon length and the absence of any space between the seats, the sofa version of this design was meant for entertainment. Wood banding offers an opportunity to frame or highlight with an optional finish.
