The cusp of coastline along Noord Hoek in Cape Town has a sliver of beach covered in crystalline sands that delineates land and water. The chair inspired by this shoreline onto which South Africa’s azure waves tumble has an architectonic wooden frame with a faint crescent shape that calls this seaside retreat to mind. It includes a 4” circular accent pillow [COM 4.75yd (4.5m)]. As with all of our upholstery, this piece has hand-knotted, eight-way handtied spring decks that are stabilized with steel rods. Individually wrapped American-made cotton springs are also part of the infrastructure, each encased in down.
